A fun fact about me? Sharing fun facts about myself is kind of my worst nightmare.

The things that make me happiest are pretty simple- time with the people I love, my German Shepherd Hazel, and my daughter Avery. I live for rainy days, salty ocean air, + New England summers. Harwich Port will always have a permanent piece of my heart, especially my Grammy’s cottage where so many of my favorite memories were made.

I’ve always been much more comfortable behind the camera than in front of it. Ever since I was little, there’s almost always been a camera in my hand. Somewhere along the way that turned into me becoming a professional third wheel — and honestly, it’s one of my favorite roles to play.

Photography became even more meaningful to me after losing some of my favorite people. It made me realize just how important photos truly are. The little moments, the ordinary days, the smiles you wish you could see again. I’ve found myself wishing I had more tangible photos of the people I love ~ the kind you can hold in your hands and instantly feel connected to them all over again.

That’s why what I do means so much to me. Photos aren’t just images, they’re memories. They’re little pieces of time we get to keep forever.

At heart I’m a go-with-the-flow, laid back kind of gal + that’s exactly how I approach photography. No stiff poses or pressure just capturing the real moments as they naturally unfold. The laughter, the quiet in-between glances, and the memories you’ll want to hold onto for the rest of your life.
